As a Merchandising Services Associate, you ensure our store's signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so merchandise is easy to locate. You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access. While most of your time will be spent on activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises. You'll be expected to listen to customers and answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise.

Key responsibilities include completing merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and providing proof of completion for assigned tasks; verifying buyback items and ensuring they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping; updating / validating wayfinding and product location signage, as well as digital maintenance of this information throughout the store; confirming product pricing information is clearly visible and replacing any missing price labels; helping drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products in proper locations, and ensuring displays are placed appropriately throughout the store; repairing / replacing damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise, and displays; communicating project priorities, schedule, and needs with Merchandising Services Team and Manager; analyzing metrics and providing feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders; and completing other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include the ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction); ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others; utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks; ability to sit and stand for long periods of time; and minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation. Preferred qualifications include Lowe's sales floor experience, experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays, experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment, and working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.).

This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores. Working conditions include exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, possible exposure to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment, and lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
