Job description

Job Description and Duties

The Business Entities Section (BES) is looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to act as Lead for our Resolution Processing Team RPT 5. Under the general direction of a Tax Program Supervisor, the incumbent who fills this position will lead a group of processing technicians (TPTI). Duties may include, but are not limited to, performing quality review of new hire and current technician's work, providing technical assistance, working the more complex Business Entities returns, and training inexperienced staff. The incumbent will assist with review and validation of business entity returns including corporations, limited liability companies (LLC), partnerships, and exempt organizations. They may also work with other business areas within Franchise Tax Board (FTB) to represent the Business Entities Section on various teams or committees.

Working Conditions

  • This position is eligible for limited remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of four days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
