Urgent Need for Locum Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in New York, NY

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for an immediate, high priority locum assignment in New York, NY. This is a fast moving opportunity with excellent pay at a respected children s facility.

Compensation: $190 $200 per hour

Shift Type: Scheduled shifts, no call

Hours: 12hr shifts, Scheduled 2-4+ shifts

Type: Children s hospital

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications
• Provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation

• Strong pediatric acute care clinical skills
• Excellent communication and rapport building abilities
• Proficiency in physical exams and specialty specific procedures
• Critical thinking and problem solving in complex cases
• Effective time management
• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with NP specialization (Pediatrics, Acute Care, etc.)
• Active, unencumbered APRN license in New York
• National NP certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)

• Minimum one year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Pediatric acute care experience strongly valued
