City Park Worker
Grow your career with NYC Parks! Taking care of our green spaces as a City Park Worker is just the beginning to a career at Parks. In about five years of employment with a good work ethic, you can qualify for Parks supervisory positions after obtaining a Commercial Driver's License and taking civil service tests earning potentially $100K with overtime per year. While gaining experience working at Parks, you will have access to the training, experience, and resources to support you in getting your Commercial Driver's License and passing civil service tests. Duration : January 2026 to October 2026 Work Location : Aramark 850 East 138th Street, Bronx Fees : Hired candidates will be subject to a processing fee of $68.00. Hired candidates who are not currently employed by the City will be subject to a $101.25 background check fee.

Residency Requirement
Residency in New York City, Nassau, Orange, Rockland, Suffolk, Putnam or Westchester counties required for employees with over two years of city service. New York City residency required within 90 days of hire for all other candidates.
