Security Officer - Auto Patrol Specialist FT

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Specialist FT in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents at a leading automotive location by conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting loss prevention initiatives. You will interact with visitors and staff, respond to access control needs, and provide exceptional customer service. This role allows you to contribute to a secure environment while being part of a team that values reliability, agility, and integrity. Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the automotive environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and / or law enforcement as directed.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing guidance and information related to site protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points throughout the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
