  • Service Setting : Acute Care Hospital (Clinic-based).

  • Coverage Period : 11 / 12 / 2025 – 13 weeks.
  • Clinical Shift Schedule : Tues – Thu, 8 : 00a – 5 : 00p.

COVERAGE DATES :

  • 11 / 12 / 2025 – 2 / 2026 (13 weeks).
  • PATIENT INFORMATION :

  • Patient Demographics : Adults.
  • Patient Volume / Census : Approximately 20 patients / day.
  • Case Mix : Chronic and acute pain management patients.
  • FACILITY INFORMATION :

  • No. of Beds in Department : Clinic within acute care hospital.
  • EMR System : Epic.
  • Office Equipment Available : Standard hospital systems.
  • Specialty Backup Available : Onsite physician available on Fridays.
  • Support Staff Available : Nursing and administrative support.
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental clinic coverage.
  • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE :

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes.
  • Credentialing Timeline : 60 days.
  • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :

  • REQUIRED PROCEDURES :

  • Pain medicine interventions including injections.
  • Neuromodulation procedures.
  • Medication management and treatment planning.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Licenses : Active North Carolina license required.
  • Board : Board Certified in Pain Management.
  • DEA : Required.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS.
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years in Pain Management.
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred.
  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide outpatient pain management coverage three days per week.
  • Perform pain medicine interventions including injections and neuromodulation.
  • Conduct follow-up visits, medication management, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with onsite physician for training and support in chronic and acute pain care.
  • Document all patient encounters and procedures accurately in Epic EMR.
