Examples of applications are critical fleet (US Navy), spacecraft and satellites, aerospace, clean tech, alternative energy, semiconductor, medical equipment, and nuclear components.

JOB SUMMARY : \n

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join our team located in El Cajon, CA. The Quality Inspector ensures that all machined components meet required specifications and quality standards. This role involves inspecting parts at various stages of production, interpreting technical drawings, and using precision measurement tools to verify tolerances and workmanship.

\n

\n DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

\n \n

  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of CNC-machined parts

\n

  • Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs
  • \n

  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • \n

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • \n

  • Identify non-conforming parts and initiate corrective actions
  • \n

  • Communicate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other applicable quality standards
  • \n

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in root cause analysis
  • \n

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or quality control preferred
  • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a CNC machine shop quality role
  • \n

  • Familiarity with MS Office, quality databases, and inspection reporting tools
  • \n

  • Able to walk for long periods of time, stoop, squat, climb, and work extended hours and weekends if required.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection, GD&T, and ISO standards
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • \n

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
