Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center designation Assignment is in the acute care / rehabilitation unit with potential to float between departments Caseload is typically 6-8 treatments per day Day shifts are scheduled from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, with weekend rotation among 2-3 SLPs Epic EMR experience is required SLP will evaluate, treat, and manage a variety of speech and swallowing disorders in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings All travelers are required to float within the facility as needed Scrubs of any color are permitted No on-call requirement Parking is free Minimal to no RTO; all requested time off must be disclosed and approved prior to assignment Former staff must wait a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside of a 50 mile radius Requirements Active and valid WA or Compact SLP license required if applicable At least 1 year of acute care SLP experience required Independent, quick learner with prior IPR experience preferred MBS and FEE's training preferred Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638764.
