Construction Estimator - Light Industrial

Are you a seasoned construction professional with a passion for light industrial construction projects? We're seeking a Construction Estimator – Light Industrial to join a reputed General Contractor firm that has been transforming communities for over decades. This is a Full-Time position for its ongoing light industrial construction projects in Austin, TX . We are open to candidates willing to work from regional offices in Dallas (TX), Jacksonville (FL) and Kansas City, (KS).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Develop estimates and bids for design build light industrial construction projects
• Conduct material-take offs and develop cost estimates within the light industrial construction industry
• Actively involved in negotiating or scope clarifications with subcontractors to get the best number
• Coordinate and communicate with all the stakeholders from time to time
