Seven years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Web Publishing, Technology, or Science industries. Experience managing and negotiating contract agreements. Preferred qualifications : Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management. Experience negotiating data or product partnerships agreements.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce. In this role, you will contribute to advancing AI technology by supporting Google DeepMind's data strategy. You will be responsible for sourcing third-party datasets and negotiating complex data agreements. You will have a track record of navigating ambiguity, executing complex work quickly, and thriving in high pressure environments. You will help in enabling generative AI research and product development by sourcing and negotiating first in kind data acquisition deals. You will have a degree of comfort and confidence navigating ambiguity in a changing paced environment and taking initiative to move work forward with limited information and guidance. You will be flexible and able to quickly pivot as business needs evolve. You will also collaborate with a global team and cross-functional stakeholder and will build knowledge quickly in a highly technical space.

The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities : Build and execute data acquisition strategies aligned with Google DeepMind's licensing goals and product roadmap. Manage the full partner lifecycle from prospecting and due diligence to negotiating complex agreements, ensuring timely delivery of data, and managing relationships. Develop industry experience and serve as an expert on sourcing data for your area. Own the agreement pipeline for key initiatives and manage communications with key stakeholders on progress. Work closely with Google legal and other cross-functional partners to review and gain alignment on all agreements and resolve open issues and risk points.
