Key Job Details – Neuro ICU RN Travel Assignment Location : Lynchburg, Virginia 24501 Healthcare Setting : Neuro ICU, LAC Resource Team Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 12 / 2026, End : 4 / 11 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (average 36 hours / week) Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per month Float Policy : Travelers float first as needed Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780–$1910 Important Note : The client may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment due to census fluctuations. Registered Nurse Qualifications 2-3 years of recent clinical ICU nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification NIH Stroke Scale certification COVID / Flu vaccination or approved declination Experience in a teaching hospital preferred Charge nurse experience preferred All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance No local travelers within 60 miles of Lynchburg, VA ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with neuro diagnoses (surgical and medical) Monitor and assess vital signs, neurological status, and initiate appropriate interventions Operate advanced clinical equipment : vital signs monitors, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, oxygen delivery devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including students and new hires, in a teaching hospital setting Float to other hospital units as needed, supporting overall unit needs Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols Foster a positive, team-oriented environment within the Neuro ICU Join our healthcare team in Lynchburg, Virginia—apply now for this Neuro ICU Registered Nurse travel job!
