Position Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Early Childhood Intervention Program . In this role, you will work directly with children and their families—primarily in home and community settings—to assess developmental needs and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence and functional improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for infants and toddlers to assess developmental delays and physical needs.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional skills.
- Monitor and document progress, adapting treatment strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Educate families on home exercise programs, therapeutic activities, and strategies to support progress between sessions.
- Collaborate closely with families to ensure plans align with their goals and values.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance physical, sensory, and cognitive development.
- Serve as a supportive guide to families, fostering engagement in their child’s developmental journey.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and share insights.
Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy programLicensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist in the state of TexasMinimum of one (1) year of pediatric experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to design creative and effective therapeutic strategies tailored to each childPatient, compassionate, and committed to family-centered careSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamWillingness and ability to travel to provide services in natural environments (homes, daycare, etc.)At Bay Area Rehabilitation Center, you’ll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that values innovation, compassion, and collaboration.
