About ChiFresh

ChiFresh Kitchen is a local, Black-owned food service contractor. We provide freshly cooked, beautifully seasoned, nutritious meals to institutions that serve kids, seniors, and other Chicago residents, prioritizing communities on the south and west sides of the city. ChiFresh is structured as a worker cooperative, which means everyone from the cook to the delivery drivers are able to become co-owners of the business.

Responsibilities

• Marketing & Communications (40%) : Build and grow ChiFresh’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and .
• Marketing & Communications (40%) : Pitch and secure earned media opportunities (press, blogs, community outlets).
• Marketing & Communications (40%) : Create marketing materials (flyers, decks, one-pagers) in Canva or similar tools.
• Marketing & Communications (40%) : Track and report marketing performance metrics.
• Sales Development & Support (40%) : Partner deeply with Kim, ChiFresh’s founding Business Development Lead, on lead generation, outreach, and proposal development.
• Sales Development & Support (40%) : Maintain and organize the CRM system : enter, clean, and segment data.
• Sales Development & Support (40%) : Use Excel / Google Sheets to track pipelines, analyze trends, and prepare reports.
• Sales Development & Support (40%) : Support sales enablement with tailored collateral, menus, and case studies.
• Customer Engagement & Account Support (20%) : Join customer calls / meetings with Kim to represent ChiFresh.
• Customer Engagement & Account Support (20%) : Support the Accounts team with follow-ups and onboarding new clients.
• Customer Engagement & Account Support (20%) : Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to accounts.
