This Emergency Room RN role offers the opportunity to care for patients ranging from minor injuries to acutely and critically ill cases in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The facility specializes in heart and vascular care with a designated Heart Center featuring advanced technology, plus orthopedics, spine care, mental and behavioral health, and cancer services. Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat emergency patients of all ages using critical thinking and clinical expertise in fast-paced environment.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs based on acuity levels across the unit.
• Act in composed and professional manner, especially under pressure during emergent and critical situations.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate effective follow-up plans of care and necessary referrals.
• Document patient care effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate functions with physicians and other hospital departments while remaining patient-focused and safety-aware at all times.
• Provide nursing interventions for conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies across all age groups.
• Demonstrate competency in emergency procedures including cardiac monitoring, trauma care, and critical interventions.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of emergency nursing best practices.
• Support team members and contribute to collaborative, family-oriented unit culture focused on excellence in emergency care.
