Strong reading, math, writing, communication skills (oral and written), analytical skills , statistical background. Poultry husbandry and management experience. BS degree in Animal Science or related discipline

This role manages and provides direction for the Live Production operations necessary to support the plant processing locations, including competitive performance, budgeting, planning, scheduling and maintaining compliance in a safe manner, and for compliance with all local, county, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Analyzes trends and variable tasks to identify problem areas or successes and take appropriate action to ensure maximization probability consistent with company philosophy and goals.
- Communicates effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management and non-company personnel to ensure performance and resolution of problems.
- Develops, implements and monitors Live Production budgets for assigned area.
- Complies and follows company requirements regarding bio-security, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policies at all times.
- Maintains safety working environment.
- May travel to Growout facilities, poultry houses and / or research farms monitoring conditions to ensure bird health.
