Job Title : Locum NP / PA - Surgeon - Cardiothoracic

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiothoracic surgical practice in Lansing, Michigan. This facility is home to two experienced cardiac surgeons and a thoracic surgeon, with a collaborative environment that enhances patient care. The locum position will primarily focus on providing surgical support, with the potential for one surgery per day. You will work closely with other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide high-quality care. The practice utilizes an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Cerner.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist in surgeries with a capability to perform up to one operation per day.
• Collaborate with cardiac and thoracic surgeons and inpatient APPs.
• Perform vein harvesting as part of surgical procedures.
• Participate in rounding with the surgical team.
• Adhere to the clinic s protocol for quality patient care and safety.
