Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following : Associate Degree in Nursing Nursing Diploma Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure : Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience : Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit. Certifications : Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Unit-Specific (Required or Preferred) : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certified Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Nurse (CPHON) Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) S.T.A.B.L.E.
