Assistant Store Manager
We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive, approachable manner, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. The role also involves organizing, transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional effectiveness, assisting in ordering merchandise, maintaining areas of the store, protecting and securing company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, supervising, training, and developing store associates, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, and performing other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required, along with exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
