Health Insurance Dental & Vision Benefits Education Reimbursement 401K with employer contribution Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Position Summary As a key leader of the Engineering team, the Senior Software Engineer will be a technical lead for key software projects at Navia.The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for performing programming tasks, performing code reviews, establishing and upholding best practices throughout the SDLC, and mentoring junior level team members.The Senior Software Engineer will work daily with their Quality Assurance, Product Management and Project Manager colleagues to create and enhance our best-in-class software platforms and mobile applications for Consumer Driven Healthcare benefits and COBRA administration.The team of engineers will be located throughout the United States as well as having an offshore component. Essential Functions LEAD DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS Manage and guide the modernization of legacy products as well as the creation of new products.Coordinate with internal as well as external stakeholders to help gather requirements, create user stories, and prioritize development efforts.Help to architect systems in a forward-looking, scalable manner.Keep an eye on opportunities for process improvement.Work with and supervise a small, high-performing development team that handles many products using Agile (Scrum) methodology.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Work closely with department Manager and Vice President.Mentor junior level team members.KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Required 7+ years’ software engineering experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work and coordinate closely with development team and business stakeholders.TECHNICAL 7+ years of .NET / C# experience 2+ of Angular Web application architecture, Web API, Microservices Microsoft Entity Framework and SQL Server Cloud experience with Azure Devops Microsoft SQL programming (data schema design, stored procedures, triggers, queries, and performance tuning) Relational database design (table design, queries) Experience developing Web Services (REST w / JSON, Oauth) and working with related standards GIT version control, branching strategies Experience with JIRA or other issue / bug tracking systems Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field Experience with financial, accounting, or insurance related systems Experience in healthcare.Experience with Consumer Driven Healthcare Benefits administration systems.Experience with COBRA administration systems.Experience with SAML / SSO integrations Please visit our career page and apply directly :
