Job Description :

The Business Proposal Writer supports the proposal development process from evaluation of opportunities and content development through delivery of high-quality, on-time responses.

Research, write, and edit copy for sales communication materials focusing primarily on sales proposals.

Establish a consistent tone and voice that resonates across all media and aligns with the KinderCare Learning Companies At Work brand identity.

Interview subject matter experts on product and industry content and develop compelling content.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect feedback, revise, and iterate content to produce accurate, exceptional materials that differentiate our products and inspire readers to take action.

Develop formal project plans, schedules, and facilitate cross-departmental meetings, driving internal timelines to ensure proposals are delivered on time.

Set agenda and lead kick-off calls, stakeholder meetings, and executive review meetings.

Evaluate wins / losses, attend proposal debriefs, and continually improve internal proposal development processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or Marketing.

Minimum 3 years B2B and / or B2G writing experience with demonstrated success in writing compelling product and solution-focused content.

Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and research skills for a variety of audiences. Must have experience in long-form writing, with samples.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with flawless attention to detail.

Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Ability to consider multiple sources of input for development and refinement of content; comfortable taking constructive input and using it to improve the finished product.

Excellence in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, with basic to immediate experience in layout and design.

Recommended Qualifications :

Understand the importance of a strong narrative that incorporates customer focus and storytelling.

Basic experience in Salesforce or similar project management software.

Basic experience in Loopio, Responsive, Qvidian or similar content management software.
