Software Engineer with Security Clearance

• To be eligible for this position you must hold an active TS / SCI clearance and must be willing to secure and maintain CI Polygraph.
• Work must be performed 100% onsite, however flexible work schedules are permitted.
• To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the requirements for either the Senior or Staff Software Engineer level :
• Senior Software Engineer :
• Hands-on experience in software engineering with Java and / or JavaScript / TypeScript
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or 3+ years with a Masters degree
• Staff Software Engineer :
• Extensive Java programming experience, including RESTful and / or SOAP web services
• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or 7+ years with a Masters degree Desired Skills and Qualifications :

• Effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment Pay Rate : In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $190,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Navstar considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. A candidate hired into this position will also be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to certain contingencies in accordance with Navstar policy and applicable law.
