Gastroenterology Physician at GQR Recruiting Resources summary :

As a Gastroenterology Physician, I provide specialized medical care in a hospital setting, performing procedures such as ERCP and EUS while managing inpatient cases. My role involves consulting with patients, managing follow-ups, and collaborating with support staff to ensure optimal care delivery. The position requires board certification, DEA, and various competencies related to advanced gastrointestinal procedures.

    • Shift Details

  • Hours : 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Full time or close to FT : Some weekend / weeknight call required(Call is built into

    • Schedule

  • Work : 1-2+ weeks each month and call(Paid at $5300 / day includes if on call for the rest of that day )

    • Work Details

  • Support staff : RNs, CNAs, imaging staff, APPs all available on site. Hospitalist available 24 / 7 for admissions
  • Patients per day : 10-15 (Typically 9-13 procedures done at Endoscopy)
  • Clinic consults : 45-60 minutes
  • Follow-ups : 30 minutes
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Special procedures : MUST be able to perform ERCP and EUS. Upper and lower conscious sedation mandatory
  • Skills required : Inpatient required. ERCP / EUS for inpatient and outpatient preferred. Proficient in general GI is acceptable if the candidate pool is slim. Most advanced cases are cancer-related, so proficiency here is preferred
