Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Ronceverte, West Virginia.

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekend coverage required with varying number of shifts based on contract length
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 4 for all shifts
  • Must clock in and out to receive payment
  • 24-hour orientation period required
  • Any missed shift requires working a make-up shift during the same work week or pay period
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (must be American Heart Association approved)
  • Flu vaccine required during October 2024 - March 2025 flu season (declinations not accepted)
  • West Virginia or Compact license required (pending license acceptable)
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience required
  • Previous charge experience required
  • Cerner charting system experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience required
  • Care for all age groups : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Handle various emergency conditions including trauma, medical emergencies, and psychiatric cases
  • Work with specialized equipment and perform procedures including IV management, blood product administration, and emergency medications
  • 18-bed emergency department with daily census of 65 patients
  • Interdisciplinary support available including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
