This role will help with the installation of Busbar and bending machines. This role includes extensive travel.
POSITION TITLE : Field Service Engineer II

LOCATION : JOB SUMMARY
The Field Service Engineer II will be responsible for supporting our customers with installation of new and used machinery. He / she will be responsible for supporting any maintenance and repair after installation as well as support during trade shows as needed to support the development of our customer relationships.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Installation of New & Used Machinery
- Start-up & commissioning of newly installed machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical systems, used to control modern machinery and associated equipment.
- Repair & maintenance on machinery and associated equipment.
- Demonstrate and teach operators how to set-up, program and operate newly purchased machinery.
- Set-up equipment for trade shows, in house & off site.
- Working in house at times, loading, unloading & repairing stock equipment.
- Responsible for handling the following skill areas effectively as needed :
- Electrical :
- Control Circuit Troubleshooting.
- Diagnose Component Failures, Motors, Coils, Fuses, etc.
- Control Wiring, Interfacing Auxiliary Equipment & Devices.
- Machine Shop :
- Layout, Drilling & Tapping of threaded holes.
- Using Precision Measuring Instruments, Calibers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, etc.
- Mechanical :
- Assembly & Alignments.
- Diagnose Mechanical Problems, Unusual Noises.
- Hydraulic :
- Troubleshooting Hydraulic Problems.
- Adjust Hydraulic Systems, Pressures, Flows, etc.
- Millwright :
- Precision Leveling & Shimming.
- Operate a Fork Truck, Operate an Overhead Crane, Basic Rigging.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree or technical degree preferred3-5 years of experience preferredPrior experience working in a role with exhibited knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fabrication skillsMust have a valid driver’s license with clean driving recordMust be able to travel frequently, overnight stays will be necessaryGood communication & ability to deal with a range of style and behaviors in a tactful, pleasant and professional mannerBasic computer skills in Outlook and Microsoft OfficeStrong problem solving and troubleshooting experienceWork under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervisionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Driving or flying to customer sitesLong periods of standing, kneeling, and bending to work on equipmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs periodicallyAbility to push / pullAbility to focus and plan trips across various locations
