Reserve Management Group (RMG) is a family of distinct but related business engaged in ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling and other related services. We are looking to hire Maintenance Mechanics for first and second shifts at our Reserve Alloys location in Twinsburg, OH.

The Maintenance Mechanic will evaluate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various mechanical equipment throughout the plant. this position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and hand / power tools.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow within the company. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday on 1st shift from 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm, some Saturdays as necessary, and Monday-Friday on 2nd shift from 2 : 30pm to 11 : 00pm, some Saturdays as necessary.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Two-plus years experience of performing mechanical maintenance and / or heavy equipment maintenance required.
• Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Service heavy industrial equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as conveyors, shredders, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and bearings.
• Maintain and repair of heavy industrial equipment and facilities.
• Work on electrical and hydraulic operations.
• Install and align new equipment according to blueprint / drawings.
• Operate cutting, welding, and fabrication tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with electricians, operators, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Run a forklift.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout / tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements according to company policy.
• Skills, Abilities and Traits :
• Must be a self-motivated worker and able to work independently, but function in a team environment while taking direction.
• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and trades within an industrial scrap yard.
• Ability to handle weights up to 50 punts.
• Capability to perform the physical demands of the job, which include prolonged standing, lifting, and moving of heavy object.
