Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 3x12.The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care within the healthcare environment, with an emphasis on patient and employee safety.

Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission.

Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, focusing on education and healthcare needs.

Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.

Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.

Supervise ancillary nursing staff and delegate tasks appropriately.

Maintain personal and environmental safety.

Contribute positively to the functioning of the unit.

BLS Certification required prior to first shift.

ACLS required prior to first shift (specific unit only).
