Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Sterile Compounding Technician Contract (13 Weeks) Shreveport, LA
Summary :
We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician for a 13-week contract in Shreveport, LA. This position is contract only and requires recent sterile compounding experience in a clean room environment.
Schedule :
Monday and Friday : 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM
On-call rotation every 6 weeks, 9 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM with after-hours coverage
Responsibilities :
Prepare IV admixtures and TPNs in a clean room setting
Maintain and clean the sterile compounding area
Assist the pharmacist with additional assigned duties
Requirements :
Active and clear Louisiana pharmacy technician license
Recent sterile compounding experience required
