The Telehealth Senior Product Manager is responsible to partner with clinical and operational leaders to plan, design and implement new telehealth products and services for regional and / or enterprise-wide use. Leads all phases of the product development cycle from idea through business case / value proposition, design, implementation, launch and post-launch evaluation. Senior Product Managers typically take on larger, more complex products and services that have a significant scope and strategic value to the organization. They understand and engage all organizational functions involved with the product's development for it to be successful, leading cross-functional team(s) that include local / regional stakeholders and subject matter experts, enterprise telehealth colleagues and system shared services members.
The Senior Product Manager possesses a unique blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to effectively partner with leaders and caregivers in every region and at the system-level, and skilled at balancing time, scope and resources to transform vision into reality. Learns quickly and is able to adapt to new clinical areas, local / regional organizations, stakeholders and cultures, as well as healthcare and regulatory landscape changes.
The Senior Product Manager understands how to gather necessary data and input from stakeholders to articulate the ROI and Quadruple Aim value (cost, quality, patient and caregiver experience) of a new telehealth service, and partner with subject matter experts to design and implement the service successfully. As part of leading new and innovative efforts, the Senior Product Manager uses effective product development and change management methodologies, processes and tools.
The Senior Product Manager has strong leadership skills and subject matter expertise in both healthcare and product development. In addition, the Senior Product Manager will have responsibility for coaching / mentoring less experienced members of the team as assigned.
