Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Design light gauge (cold-formed steel) structural drawings.
Design and analyze concrete structures according to the ACI code.
Familiarity with New York structural/civil codes.
Design underpinning and excavation support for both new and existing structures.
Prepare design calculations, specifications, and design analysis.
Provide construction-related services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to requests for information, conducting periodic site observations, and performing occasional specialized structural inspections.
Proficiency in structural software such as AutoCAD, SAFE, Etabs, RAM, and Revit.
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project owners to ensure successful project completion.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both internal and external.
