Lean Transformation Coach

Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools by partnering with operating leaders in business management roles. This role is crucial in driving a shift in operating mindset and ensuring lean principles are effectively applied to support strategic engineering and operational business plans. This involves cultural transformation resulting in step-change engineering transactional performance and business metrics.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute the Lean Transformation within engineering transactional processes to achieve operating goals using KPI-based performance management.
• Coach, develop, and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions including associates, support staff, and the leadership team to help progress our Lean Culture and drive Continuous Improvement.
• Be a Champion of Kaizen and facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvements using Value Stream Analysis, Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, and Single-Piece Flow.
• Teach, promote, and practice the systematic approach to Lean @ GE and build lean conversion roadmaps and overall capability.
• Participate in Daily Management Systems including Operating Rhythms, Genba walks, and Kata coaching cycles.
• Coach teams using the Kata process to drive daily Rapid Experiments and Problem Solving in a systematic way.
• Partner closely with business segments to prioritize and improve critical, cross-functional processes across the Commercial Engine Systems Engineering team for effective transformation and sustainment.
