Locum Tenens General Practitioner (MD / DO) Occupational Medicine

Location : Wood River, IL

Assignment : Vacation Coverage (Up to 6 Weeks Over 12 Months)

Compensation : $125 / hour (Flat Rate)

Schedule : Monday Friday, 7-hour shifts + 1-hour paid lunch

Malpractice : Claims-made malpractice coverage provided

Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus exclusively on Occupational Medicine , including :

• Physicals : DOT, post-job offer, hazmat, silica, asbestos.
• Workplace Evaluations : Fit-for-duty and return-to-work exams.
• Injury Management : Workplace injuries, workers' compensation cases, and OSHA recordables.
• Drug & Alcohol Testing : Onsite screenings and compliance evaluations.
• On-Call Physician Cases : Providing expert assessment and guidance as needed.
