This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers you will serve as SME contributor to the development of company capabilities, best practices, and standards while developing advanced techniques, procedures, and criteria required for release and verification of assigned processes. Applies human performance principles to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Applies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, workplace designs, and production standards. Considers workflow, layout, and safety measures when designing industrial plants and facilities. Coordinates quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. Drafts and designs layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer. Ensures design meets organizational and production goals. - Own the successful completion of major program outcomes through informal leadership of project and technical work teams; provides mentoring to other employees
- Perform and lead others in creating build & flow documents, identifying required production tools, creating manufacturing BOMs, authoring work instructions, determining build schedules, and executing build of flight hardware on the production flow. You will work in a cross functional team role providing direction to manufacturing engineering, tooling engineering, and facilities engineering
- Lead anomaly investigations, root cause / corrective action analyses, and development of recovery plans
- Perform trade studies with vehicle level and subsystem design teams to better enable fabrication and integration of parts
- Follow the build onto the floor and be the technical point of contact during build execution
- Monitor and report on the product health (technical producibility, schedule adherence, budget allocation) through the entire product build and delivery. Identify inputs, constraints, and deficiencies of the product build plan and work with all associated functions to implement solutions that will ensure product delivery within safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or similar) from an accredited college or university. ABET is preferred and others will be considered
- Advanced professional expertise in understanding and application of engineering fundamentals across the development cycle of systems including requirements, fabrication, assembly, verification, test, and refurbishment
- 15+ years of related combined experience in manufacturing engineering and project management / program management roles at various levels within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with setting technical direction for area of expertise and setting frameworks for deciding trade-offs between low, medium, and high-performance technical architectures
- Previous experience in a product leadership role with significant technical project management responsibility and proven technical depth
- Experience managing within fast-paced dynamic (e.g., growing, evolving) organizations, including planning, budget, schedule, quality, deliverables, reporting, staff, facilities, and interfaces
- Experience driving a product from concept development into production
- Proven excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
