KidStrong Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is the leader of the center, responsible for fostering a culture of learning and development for both Coaches and Families. The AGM is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader who is focused on defining goals and delivering an exceptional experience for the kids, families, and team members. The goal of the AGM is to drive the business of the center, develop and train their coaching team, build the culture of their center.
Responsibilities : Center Operations :
- Understand and drive the center's key KPI's and financials, including a profit and loss statement.
- Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values
- Support center level initiatives i.e. center maintenance, training, brand consistency etc.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center
- Manage center level employee issues and appropriate documentation
- Typical schedule includes 4 weekday and 1 weekend shifts
- Set and communicate Coach schedules using appropriate scheduling
- Schedule, sell, and staff KidStrong events, such as Camps and Parties, to maximize center profitability
Sales :
Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (50+ calls / day is a typical outbound phone sales effort)Properly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgetsRespond and follow through in a timely manner with all KidStrong corporate / owner requests and client / lead requestsDrive sales through thorough trial conversion in the centerLeadership :
Foster a coaching culture - see something, say somethingContinuously assess and document Coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class qualityAchieve all Certifications required by KidStrong HQ per your role and responsibilitiesSupport in the recruiting, managing, training and evaluation of coaching candidatesManage and support ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUponSupport center level staff meetings and trainingsAttend weekly leadership meeting with DFW leadersCoaching :
Coach students by delivering an evolving curriculum that focuses on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages ranging from 15 months - 11 years-oldComplete training through LearnUpon as requiredUnderstand the "why" behind the KidStrong curriculumDemonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elementsCommunicate professionally with co-workers in SlackMust be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lift and repeatedly move equipment up to 25 pounds in weightMust be comfortable physically working with kids to ensure proper technique and safetySupport monthly center staff meetings focused on culture, development, product, and performanceSkills / Qualifications :
Passion : Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
Communication : Comfortable speaking to parents / guardians regarding variety of topics
Experience : Prior experience as a pediatric OT / PT is a plus, but not required
Management : Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
Sales : 1 to 2 years of sales experience
Technology : Practical work experience with Google platforms
Systems : Previous experience with systems and platforms such as GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and Gusto is preferred but not required
Knowledge : Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Certification : CPR certified
Supervisory Responsibilities : This position will supervise all Coaches and the Lead Coach under the supervision of the General Manager.
Compensation : $45,000.00 per year
