Faculty - Radiologic Technology (Program Director)

Overview

Faculty - Radiologic Technology (Program Director) at Southwest Tennessee Community College, a Tennessee Board of Regents institution. This is a full-time, academic, faculty term appointment in the Allied Health Department.

Campus Location : STCC - Multiple Campus Locations. This role involves coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities, with responsibility for the organization, administration, instruction, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, curriculum planning and development, faculty mentoring, directing other program faculty / staff, and overall program effectiveness; including involvement in budget processes and accreditation activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, prepare, present, and evaluate classroom instruction and related activities for the Radiologic Technology program.
• Provide leadership in curriculum planning and development, program assessment, and continuous quality improvement.
• Mentor and direct program faculty and staff; maintain regular contact with students, faculty, and program personnel.
• Participate in budget preparation processes and manage program resources.
• Submit required documents for program accreditation, communicate accreditation changes, and implement timely improvements to meet accreditation standards.
• Instruct, advise, and counsel students; participate in academic advising, committee work, and professional activities at local, state, regional, and national levels.
• Review and update curriculum, assessments, student learning outcomes, and program learning outcomes in alignment with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current professional licensure / certification and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Attend faculty meetings, college assemblies, and other required meetings; participate in departmental and college committees; provide outreach to the community.
• Adhere to all job-related duties as assigned by the Department Head / Dean.
