Early Shift Coordinator
The Early Shift Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for driving the restaurant's sales and profit results through effective management of profitability, guest satisfaction, team performance, and seamless operations. Supporting the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager, this leader ensures the restaurant runs smoothly during morning shifts and consistently meets performance goals.
Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Profitability :
- Adhere to cash control and security protocols (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
- Manage inventory levels through daily and weekly inspections.
- Receive and verify inventory truck orders to ensure accurate stock levels.
Guest Satisfaction :
Inspire and guide Team Members to provide exceptional, fast, and friendly service in a clean environment.Team Development :
Offer coaching and constructive feedback to enhance the skills of Team Members and improve restaurant performance.Operational Excellence :
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic in implementing shift plans and achieving operational targets.Ensure efficient preparation and sales of products for prompt service within established guidelines.Motivate Team Members throughout the shift, maintaining engagement and productivity.Analyze restaurant results to identify strengths and areas for improvement.Ensure adherence to operational and brand standards at all times.Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant setting.Strong understanding of guest service principles.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to manage long and / or irregular shifts as necessary for restaurant operations.
