Role : OTT Video Operations Specialist

Timing : This role would require flexibility in their work schedule.

Job Description :

We are actively seeking candidates with hands-on experience at major OTT platforms like Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc., to join our digital media operations team. This role focuses on maintaining, updating, and ensuring seamless playback of video content across devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Upload and update video content in the digital video library.

Take regular backups of highlights and critical media content.

Ensure all video assets run seamlessly across web, mobile, and smart TV platforms.

Assign work tickets to team members and track progress in detail.

Maintain awareness of active case tickets and conduct quality checks on team output.

Provide structured feedback and improvement plans to team members.

Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

Prior work experience with OTT platforms such as Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime, SonyLIV, etc.

In-depth knowledge of VOD metadata standards (CableLabs, MovieLabs).

Understanding of video / audio codecs and container formats (MP4, MKV, AAC, etc.).

Experience in VOD delivery workflows, encoding, and streaming issue resolution.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multi-device environments.

Proficient with content management systems, Excel dashboards, and IBM Aspera.

Familiarity with structured data formats such as XML and JSON, and ability to decode XML files.

Nice to Have :

Experience working with digital media content tools, broadcast workflows, and QC tools.

Familiarity with CDN platforms and adaptive bitrate streaming.
