Job Title : Travel Echo Tech (Cardiac Sonographer) Facility : Harris Regional Hospital, Sylva, NC Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Overview : Harris Regional Hospital is seeking a Travel Echo Tech to join the cardiovascular diagnostics team. The ideal candidate will perform echocardiographic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic, stress, and Doppler studies.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Analyze and record diagnostic data for physician interpretation.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Current ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting a variety of echocardiographic procedures.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Travel contract position

    • Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
