Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time teacher specializing in visual impairment is needed to support K-12 students within a school setting. This role requires 19 hours per week onsite, providing direct instructional services to a mixed caseload of students with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion
• Assess student needs and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Use adaptive technology and teaching strategies specific to visual impairment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Provide consultation and training for staff and families on visual impairment-related topics
