Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a MT or compact RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities Work in a general surgery operating room within a hospital

Care for surgical patients across a variety of procedures

Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts and on-call requirements

Use of Epic charting system for documentation

May be required to float to other departments within competency and qualification scope

Responsible for independent and delegated nursing functions including assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care

Performs health teaching and counseling, as well as supportive and restorative therapies

May be required to float to other units as business needs dictate

On-call responsibilities may be assigned during scheduled shifts

Specific background check and drug screening procedures must be completed prior to start

Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding

Requirements Active RN license in Montana or a compact state is required at the time of consideration

Minimum of 1 year Operating Room nursing experience required

Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school required; BSN preferred

Current American Heart Association BLS certification required, with ACLS / NRP / PALS as appropriate for the unit

Experience with Epic EMR required

All certifications must be current and not expire prior to start
