TITLE : Senior UI Automation Engineer : (UFT and AI Tools)

LOCATION : NEW YORK CITY HYBRID (2-3 DAYS ONSITE)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develops automated tests. Performs automated testing for software functionality, installation, and usability. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Manages bugs and error tracking. Documents and presents test results to management. Coordinates and prioritizes testing of application modifications and bug fixes.

Design and implement robust UI test automation solutions for Excel add-in functionalities.

Ensure high test coverage and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Analyze business and technical requirements for the Excel-based add-in.

Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using UFT.

Write reusable, maintainable, and scalable code in VBScript and / or JavaScript.

Integrate automated tests with CI / CD pipelines as required.

Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

Identify, report, and track defects in collaboration with the development team.

Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

Provide recommendations for process improvements

Should have used Gen AI tools for writing automated tests / framework.
