Overview
Project Managers lead our sales and estimating activities, making critical decisions that drive the success of mold remediation, fire cleaning, and other restoration service projects. They prepare and review documentation, including notes, photos, and estimates, in accordance with company policies, and communicate processes and next steps to customers in person. This role requires excellent sales abilities. We can teach industry specific skills, but familiarity with construction or other relevant home services is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with insurance personnel and clients to drive sales and execute projects for mold remediation, fire cleaning, and other restoration services.
- Create accurate estimates using applicable software, adhering to IICRC standards and carrier audit requirements.
- Inspect and scope jobs onsite, collaborating with team leads to determine project scope.
- Document job details with clear, descriptive photos and notes, uploading them into the required operating system / software.
- Communicate key job information and updates using the notes feature in the designated software.
- Explain service processes and next steps to customers in person.
- Manage projects to achieve client expectations, assess project risks, and incorporate feedback from clients and insurance adjusters.
- Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner, acting as a liaison.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections post-completion, obtain client approvals, and request payments when necessary.
- Identify marketing opportunities while working with clients and maintain relationships with assigned contacts to secure referred projects.
- Participate in marketing events, such as trade shows, sponsored events, and membership functions.
- Meet minimum monthly sales requirements.
- Determine labor and equipment costs for accurate project pricing.
Job Requirements
Proven sales background with demonstrable references.Knowledge of mold remediation, fire cleaning, and other restoration services is a plus.Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record.Ability to work independently and with a team while maintaining professionalism.Proficient in entering data using a tablet or mobile phone.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Willingness to work an on-call schedule on a monthly basis.IICRC Certifications are a plus but not required; training will be provided.Xactimate experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.Benefits and Compensation
