Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Project Scheduler who can support a large CAPEX Project and smaller projects within a program utilizing Primavera P6. This is for projects in Healthcare and Life Sciences , including hospitals, medical clinics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices. The scopes will include civil, structural, mechanical, process piping, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, automation systems, commissioning & validation, regulatory, and operational readiness. This is an a hybrid role to be on-site 3-4 days per week in downtown Seattle, WA .

Responsibilities :

  • Develop quality schedule baselines.
  • Versatile people skills, from the field foreman to the vice president.
  • Manage schedule and perform updates.
  • Manage schedule changes and analyze change impact.
  • Summarize schedule status in a narrative and create status reports and presentations for management.
  • Perform resource planning and optimization.
  • Facilitate project and schedule meetings
  • Produce meaningful schedule reports
  • Ensure schedules are developed in compliance with corporate and department requirements and contractual requirements

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities : written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a team spirit and strong dedication to success of the team.
  • Construction experience required
  • Knowledge in the construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with schedule updates and progressing.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Primavera P6.
  • Experience in life sciences and hospital projects.
  • Education and Training :

  • Primavera scheduling experience 8+ years
  • Capex construction and facilities management project experience 5+ years
  • Healthcare or Life Sciences Experience (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical devices, hospitals) 3+ years
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Any certification from PMI or AACE is beneficial
