Education & Experience : Required : AS / BS in science Preferred : Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or completion of a relevant vocational training program. Prior histology or laboratory experience is highly desirable. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure laboratory safety and quality standards are met.

Shift : 2nd shift. Tues - Sat. 3pm – 11 : 30pm.
Pay Rate Starts from $75 per hour
Vaccine Requirement : Hep B
Job Summary :
The Travel Histotech will perform routine medical laboratory tests to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This role involves traveling to different locations as needed and ensuring high-quality laboratory testing and reporting in compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities :
- Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine and specialized tests following standardized procedures.
- Analyze and verify test results to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Record, analyze, and report test data using charts, graphs, and narratives.
- Obtain and prepare specimens, including cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- Examine stained cells to detect abnormalities and consult with pathologists for final diagnosis when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure laboratory safety and quality standards are met.
