The Operating Room at BJH is separated into five Pods that each align with different surgical specialties :

Pod 1 : Pelvic specialties : gynecology, urology, colorectal, and general surgery

Pod 2 : Trauma, trauma services (wound treatment), reconstructive surgery for ortho (hip / knee replacement, orthoscopic knee and shoulder) and plastics repair

Pod 3 : Cardiac, transplant, vascular, heart / lung transfers

Pod 4 : Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, MIS, Plastics, and General Oncology

Pod 5 :   Ortho, Spine, Neuro, ENT, kidney / liver tranplants
