This established medical group operates within a well-respected healthcare network, providing comprehensive radiology services to the community. The facility features modern equipment, supportive staff, and is conveniently located within an outpatient building connected to the hospital campus.

Opportunity :

Board Certified - Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography

Job Details :

• Position begins January, working one week every other month for 6-9 months
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4pm with no call requirements
• Primary focus on diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies
• Must maintain MQSA Standards qualification (960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months)
• Reading studies across all modalities including Mammo, PET, CT, X-rays, Ultrasounds, and MRIs
• Perform breast biopsies and other procedures as needed
• Average monthly volumes : 225 Screening Mammograms, 30 Diagnostic Mammograms, 13 Procedures
• Work with Cerner EMR system with support from radiology techs, ultrasound techs, and other staff
• Outpatient clinic setting at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital
• Must have active California medical license
• Board Certification highly preferred
• BLS / ACLS and DEA required for credentialing
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Hospital and foundation privileges required (90-120 day credentialing process)

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
