POSITION SUMMARY : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our procurement team as a Senior Strategic Buyer - Warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for third-party warehousing services. Your primary focus will be on sourcing, selecting, and negotiating contracts with third-party warehouse providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective storage and distribution of goods. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and finance, to meet the company's warehousing needs and drive cost savings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL :
EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS : Contract negotiation and contract management experience required. Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement preferred. Experience in SAP, Power BI and other advanced data analytics tools preferred. Experience in Microsoft; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Proven experience in procurement, ideally relating to warehousing management. Strategic thinking and long-term category planning experience required. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills. Familiarity with warehousing operations and strategic sourcing practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities including presenting to senior leadership.
The approximate pay range for this position is $90,107 to $116,792. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
