Public Service Maintenance Worker A-1 - Parks

The Public Service Maintenance Worker A-1 Parks will maintain field time records, prepare reports of work in progress, upkeep grounds of the property using various power tools or heavy equipment. This position typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following : mowing, trimming, digging, raking, litter picking, shelter janitorial, brush chipping, weed whipping, power snow blowing, hand snow shoveling, and misc. related duties.

Required Tasks

• Repair of grounds and structures.
• Maintain field time records; prepare reports of work in progress and materials utilized.
• Operate various equipment - transport vans, A truck and trailers, backhoe, front-end loaders, Bob Cat utility vehicles, tractors, mowers and truck with now plows.
• Litter pickup, janitorial, tree trimming and brush chipping.
• Weed whipping, chain saws, power plows, power snow blowing and hand now shoveling.
• Clean equipment, check vehicle fluid levels.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
