Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active ARRT, Flouro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a day shift position in a busy acute care hospital. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases Procedures include coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral vascular diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker implantation Patient population includes cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmia cases Uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic is required Day shifts, four 10-hour days per week (6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM) No weekends required Call is required No floating required within the hospital but may float to nearby affiliated hospitals as needed Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, and permanent pacemaker implants Orientation consists of 30 hours with modules to be completed pre-start and annually Free parking available on the first day, with assignment parking provided during orientation Return staff policy : must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler; cannot be within a 50 mile radius Local candidates are accepted but must comply with the 50 mile radius rule All travelers may be required to float to affiliate hospitals nearby; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment RTO (requested time off) must be approved at the time of consideration Housing support may be available for travelers having difficulty securing accommodations Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience Active ARRT, Flouro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications required; RCIS is not accepted Valid CA license required; pending Flouro permit considered if proof of application is provided Experience working in an acute care hospital setting Ability to perform coronary and peripheral interventions and permanent pacemaker procedures Epic EMR experience is required References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty setting Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year First-time travelers are accepted License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626087.
