Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Security Officer. This role would be responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. The role would be around 16 hours a week with the flexibility of 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
- Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and according to policy.
- Directs and participates in rendering aid at the scene of emergencies.
- Patrol designated areas
- Responsible for transporting money from Guest Services to Business Office.
- Responsible for the daily locking / unlocking of Monet Cassino.
- Investigate disturbances. Warn / cite persons of rule infractions or violations. Detain and call State Police / Sheriff when necessary.
- Assist guests, students, monks, and co-workers
