Job Description

As a Security Guard - Museum Security Driver in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a respected cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol the location to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for using a company vehicle during your patrols. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to identify any suspicious behavior or potential risks.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site-specific requirements.
  • Assist with access control, verifying credentials for visitors, staff, and contractors as needed.
  • Support cultural institution staff and guests by providing information and assistance as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
